Regan wants her kite to go up as high as possible and flies it about 4 times a day.
Riley wants her kite as close as possible and is scared it will get away. She flies it about 5 minutes a day.

The girls are not quite sure about Parker yet. Riley would not touch Holly's stomach for the picture and it has taken her until now for me to get her to feel him kick. They are SO excited for him to be here and will LOVE to have a little cousin, but as long as he is in Holly's stomach they are having nothing to do with it. 
This picture cracked me up! The girls have so much fun with Zander and were so excited he came to play with them. I have been working on their "pretty smile" and it worked pretty good this time.

They loved swimming! By the end of last summer they were swimming great, but I was thinking it might take them awhile to get the hang of it again. They surprised me by swimming all over the pool and even underwater. By the second day they didn't even wear their armies!
We always pet the goats and rabbits. It is a great resting time after all the rides.

The girls loved Easter. They both know the ENTIRE Easter story and really understood the point of Easter Sunday. We have the Resurrection eggs (see Wilson's Blog) and it helped them understand why we celebrate. As we drive now Regan will be looking up at the sky and say, "Jesus died so we could go to Heaven". They ask a lot of questions now about how to get to Heaven and then how to get back again.

Okay, so there were NO good pictures of me with the girls. It happens every holiday, birthday, etc. Jason never gets a good picture. EVER! I don't really have the time to notice before we leave. I also realized I didn't get a good picture of the girls by themselves in their dress. Oh, well.

In my family we still use the same Easter basket from when we were little. As we each get married my mom adds a new one to the bunch. Jason was so excited to that the Easter bunny still found his basket.
Well, Riley lost her 2nd tooth today. She has 4 other loose ones. She is just 3 yrs. 8 months (almost) and will have no teeth!
Jason celebrated his 29th birthday last month. The girls were so excited to get cupcakes and go to all his "parties" (out to eat). My little sis, Whitney also turned 21 (Woo-hooo!!!) last month. I forgot my camera that night :(.
This past weekend Nana and Papa came to visit! We went to Chuck E Cheese and to the Promenade. We tried to go swimming at their hotel, but none of the adults wanted to put on their bathing suits. Even though they could touch in the shallow end, they were very reluctant to swim. Very! I put Regan all the way in the water to show her she could touch and she freaked out. I felt bad that I scared her so I went over to talk with her and she said, "I need an angel to help me". I asked if whe wanted to pray and she said, "No, I just need it to put her kini (bikini) on and swim with me". I was trying so hard not to laugh because she was so worried her face was broken out in red splotches and she was hiccuping as she said this.

This is the whole High family. My mom made sure we posed in our "birth order". I am the old lady since I am even older than Jason!!

Unfortunately on the way to dinner, I looked at Riley and saw "the look" of fever. She said she was fine and really had been fine all day. I thought she felt warm, but didn't think much until she crawled in my lap and fell asleep. Last nap taken : 2006. Seriously. I got her to my parents and her fever was 104.4!!! I sent Jason to get Children's Tylenol and tried to get her fever down. It was so sad because she wanted to play in GiGi's playroom with Polly Pocket, but literally had no energy. I knew it was really serious when she said no to cake. We fought high fever for about 48 hours and that was all. I have no clue what it was, but am very thankful it was NOT the flu. On Friday, Regan came in to the living room where Riley was laying on the couch and said, "Mom we're sick". Riley promptly said, "I'm not sick!". I told her when you have fever you are sick and she said, "But Regan doesn't have fever." So I said that Regan was sick last week with her cough. (Cue cough Regan) Regan wanted to be sick with Riley I think mostly out of boredom. So, I let her be Nurse Regan for a while and she liked helping me. Regan really misses Riley if they are not able to play. She wants to "take care" of her and "love her" and "check on" her. This translates to, "Mom! Regan is bothering me!" (Riley) "But I just want to love my sister!" (Regan)
